I am a classical double bassist and currently sub with orchestra in the greater Chicago area.

I also maintain MostlyBass.com, a site for bassists, parents, and teachers.

I have composed and arranged several pieces over the years.

Suzuki Soup is a composition I wrote featuring the melodies of Suzuki Book 1. It is a medley in a fiddling type style. I thought that since most string students study these tunes it would be fun to play them with a twist in a group setting.

• a simple arrangement of Pomp and Circumstance for string orchestra
   
• Bottesini Reverie in orchestral tuning
   
• Lorenziti Gavotte in orchestra tunings.

I play 5-string electric bass in the rock / jam band, The Flynn Effect.

We are currently recording and preparing for shows this summer.
